The Freedom Ward formed in late 2005 and is made up of two musicians from Birmingham. We set out to explore further ways of capturing specific musical moods when playing live, and so our style incorporates many elements of acoustic, progressive and folk music from various parts of the world. By combining the acoustic mood of our live sets with anything and everything that is possible in the studio, we aim to produce an intelligent and interesting blend of music that opens up the boundaries of our own imaginations as performers.
